EZ-2 (EZ-2 Plus or Envi) – The solvent evaporator that needs only one person to operate it
The system is particularly well suited for degradation of solvents for the purpose of concentration or complete drying of samples in life science.

On a small footprint, the compact system combines a wide range of aluminum sample preparation holders for optimum infrared temperature transmission. Operational safety is ensured by the powerful, chemical-resistant membrane pump, the sophisticated new cryo trap for condensate collection, and the easy handling of the EZ-2.

As a standard, the EZ-2 comprises Genevac's patented Dri-Pure™ anti-bumping system which prevents solvent bumping, i.e. ejection of superheated solvent and solute from a test tube or microtitre plate well.

Another safety feature is the integrated temperature control and auto-stop system, ensuring optimum monitoring of your sample during the entire process. In this way, automatic mode is a feasible option for every user.
