The vacuum pump is supplied ready to use with a chemical-resistant membrane pump which delivers a final vacuum of about 10 mbar and has a suction capacity of 2 m3/h. All of the necessary connection fittings are also included as well as a cold trap (2 liters, -50°C).
The pump ensures that the process continually runs as liquid vaporization and not as freeze drying, which would be the case with pumps that deliver a lower final vacuum and which would significantly increase processing time.
