Intelligent evaporation

  • The automatic module Laborota 20 Distimatic with residue extraction can continually evaporate unlimited quantities in permanent operation without any restrictions as to time. Thus, it is a favourably priced alternative to the 50 and 100 liter evaporators
  • Individual process control: Program ramps individually, select the programs P(cost) and T(auto), and enable the timer
  • Meets highest safety standards: glassware and collection flask behind a solid PMMA shield
  • Control panel with all programs for automatic distillation, vacuum controller, and display for all process parameters
  • Metal and safety glass protection hood prevents any contact with the heater bath while offering full visual supervision of the reaction
  • Certification according to GMP available: validation for installation (IQ) and operating qualification (OQ)
  • Unique, integrated device allowing one single person to safely replace the evaporator flask alone without help
  • Automatic topping up of the water bath ensures that there is always sufficient fluid in the bath
  • The overtemperature protection function switches the bath off in case of uncontrolled heating. In case of overpressure or glass breakage, the entire unit will be switched off.
  • A sensor measures the level of the water bath and prevents overflowing when the evaporator flask is immersed.
  • A cassette system ensures that the collection flask stands safely on level surfaces

Two programs for your process control

P(const): Program for solvent separations. This program holds a set vacuum constant and uses a hysteresis

T(auto): Supports very precise automatic pressure control for solvent evaporation and separations. It is able to identify multiple boiling points automatically by reducing vacuum by use of a vapor temperature. This unique program gives operator ease of use in optimizing the vacuum parameters.

Laborota 20 compact – For higher demands and integrated vacuum control

  • This model features identical specifications as the LR 20 safety but for limited budget comes without these safety aspects:
    – Metal frame and safety glass guard hood covering the bath
    – High impact PMMA door covering the glassware assembly
    – High impact PMMa latching doors which cover the receiving flask cassettes
