The pre-sterilized microbiological filter for bacteria counting in aqueous solutions comprises a cellulose and mixed ester membrane of 47 mm diameter with a pore size of 0.45 µm. The membrane is white with a printed black grid. The three-section housing (membrane holder, 100 ml hopper, lid) is made of medical grade polypropylene.
