Filter Units with Bottletop Filters with PES Membrane, NALGENE^®, IDL

Filter funnels and bottletop filters with PES membrane
0.2 µm and 0.45 µm pore size, gamma sterilized disposable filter, polystyrene housing, non-cytotoxic, non-pyrogenic. Compared to cellulose nitrate, cellulose acetate and nylon membranes, this hydrophilic membrane has very low extractable levels, high flow rates with aqueous solutions and low protein binding. Nalgene offers this system as a complete filter system and as bottle-top filter, fits all 33-mm-Ø and 45-mm-Ø standard bottles with threads. (0.2 μm units have the Supor-MachV-membrane; 0.45 μm units have the Supor-membrane)
Filter funnels and bottletop filters with new improved PES membrane
Now with the new improved PES-membrane with 0.2 μm pore size. The advantages of the PES Supor MachV membrane consist of the asymmetrical (V-shaped) pore structure. This results in higher flow rates and improved standing times compared with standard PES-membranes. All filter units are individually packed in a sterile way. Batch numbers, pore size and membrane type are printed on the filter part for easy identification and, for filter systems, additionally printed on the filtrate bottle.

Bottletop filters with PES membrane

Top part with filter, individually packed in a sterile way. Batch number, pore size durability and membrane type are printed on the reservoir unit for easier identification. Suitable for the common bottles with 33-mm Ø and 45-mm Ø diameter. Otherwise same as above.

Filter funnels with PES membrane

Complete filtering system consisting of a top part with filter and filtrate bottle, individually packed in a sterile way. Batch number, pore size, durability and membrane type are printed on the upper filter unit and filtrate bottle for easier identification.
New unit with 50 ml volume, for direct filtration in a conical centrifugal tube. Otherwise same as above.
