Glass Fibre Filters, Hahnemühle

Recommended filters for controlling both air and water pollution and as a pre-filter for membranes.

  • Made of 100% borosilicate glass fibres with binders.
  • Glass fibre filters adsorb the finest particles down to 1 µm from liquids, in air and gases, aerosols with even 0.3 – 0.5 µm are separated.
  • The large surface area (about 2 m2/gr) provides an outstanding retention capacity.
  • Extremely low content in alkali-earth metals.
  • Chemical stability: It keeps all its properties in contact with acids (except hydrofluoric acid) and/or lyes at moderate concentrations.
  • Stability at high temperatures: It keeps its properties up to 500ºC, and 180ºC for GF10.
  • High flow speed and high permeability to air.
  • Usable as Pre-filter for membranes to prevent the membranes from silting up.
