Glass fibre thimbles

Recommended for analysis of particles and aerosols in gases and air. Made of 100% pure borosilicate fibres, without binding elements.

  • High loading capacity and highly permeable to air
  • High retention of small particles, >99% according to BS 4400
  • Wall thickness 1.7 mm (thimbles with <33 mm diameter)
  • Good stability at high temperatures up to 500°C
  • Recommended for hot, moist, and acidic gases
