The programmable power supplies by Multimed generate constant voltage and current.
Voltage, current, the electrical constants are continuously balanced with automatic cross-over. The time and volt hour mode is a valuable standard feature. As soon as the set limit values are attained, the microprocessor switches the voltage source off and indicates the end of the cycle by an acoustic alarm. When a grounding fault is detected, the mains and the high voltage transformer are automatically disconnected. The units are fully protected against short-circuit and overvoltage. Furthermore, the microprocessor reliably prevents the short-term application of high voltage to the outputs. During operation, the voltage is increased smoothly up to the preselected limits.
