Transparent 250 mm polycarbonate cover, body and stopcock made of polypropylene, PTFE TFE plug. Will not shatter or implode even at full vacuum when used according to the instructions packed with the product. Body is impervious to acids, bases and all usual desiccants. Convenient vacuum connection on body makes cover easy to handle. Straight-bore design eliminates stopcock leakage. The stopcock can be used with 6.4 mm I.D. vacuum tubing. No need to draw a vacuum to make cover airtight - just grease the sealing lip.Recessed rim on cover keeps grease off bench top when cover is set down. Takes any standard 230 mm desiccator plate.
