Tamper-Evident Closure made of PP for DURAN® laboratory glass bottles
The tamper-evident closure, made of PP, can be used with all DURAN® labglass bottles with thread GL 45. It is used for safety storing the bottle contents. The cap is screwed tightly to the bottle and after a soft "click" the plastic ring is fixed on the bottle neck. When the cap is opened for the first time, the perforation of the plastic ring is broken thus showing that the bottle has been opened.
The cap is autoclavable and temperature resistant up to +140°C.
After the perforation of the plastic ring is broken, the cap may of course still be used as an "ordinary" screw cap.
