Lets you determine the following constituents in one operation:
- alcohol content
- extract
- apparent extract
- original wort
- density
- osmotic pressure
The resolution for all constituents is 0.01%.
The osmotic pressure is indicated in mOsmol/l.
High reproducibility (measuring accuracy).
Measuring principle:
The beer sample (10ml) is sucked in the measuring cell. Using thermal measuring effects, alcohol content, extract, and density are measured. All other constituents which can be derived from that (e.g. original wort, apparent extract, osmotic pressure), are also calculated. One measurement only takes 1 minute.
Calibration:
The device is calibrated by means of an appropriate reference beer. Up to 18 different calibration profiles can be calibrated and saved (e.g. Pils, stout, non-alcoholic beer, wheat beer, etc.). In this way, you can change from one product to the next without having to carry out a new calibration.
Interfaces:
Parallel interface / protocol printer:
The unit has a parallel interface for connecting a standard printer. A thermal printer is comprised in the scope of delivery.
Serial interface / PC connection, software
Serial interface for PC connection, appropriate software comprised in the scope of delivery.
