With the COD setup by AQUALYTIC® , the meaningful waste water parameter COD (chemical oxygen demand) can be accurately and quickly determined in compliance with ISO 15705. Because the setup is so easy to operate, also new users will be able to carry out the low-cost analysis of the COD value. The setup comprises the photometer, 25 cuvette tests each of the two lower measuring ranges (0 to 150 mg/l and 0 to 1,500 mg/l), the thermoreactor AL125, and a cuvette rack.
Thermoreactor for the chemical digestion of cuvette samples (COD, total chromium, total phosphate, total nitrogen, and TOC). Temperature settings and selection of reaction time via membrane keyboard. The reactor has three temperature ranges (100 / 120 / 150°C) and three pre-programmed reaction times (30 / 60 / 120 min). After completion of the digestion, the reactor switches off automatically, indicated by an LED plus an acoustic signal.
The thermoreactor AL125 is fitted with 24 holes for 16 mm diameter vials.
