The type 221 and 231 stirrerheads allow for intensive blending of highly viscous products; these stirrerheads are magnetically coupled. This means that the transmission of the force from any drive to a compression-proof space takes place via a magnetic coupling. The interior of the stirrerhead is sealed compression-proof against the outside. As leaking owing to worn seals is ruled out, this is the most safe and reliable kind of stirrer seal, which makes it particularly suitable for sealing toxic or hazardous substances. The rotary interior element runs in bush bearings. The entire interior which comes into contact with the substances is made from stainless steel. The bottom part can be cooled to dissipate heat. A 6 mm Swagelok® screwed connection is provided for vacuum or compressed air connection.
