For splitting two liquid phases of different density, mainly for separating water from organic liquids. Preferably used on distillation and reaction apparatus. Condensates obtained by cooling from the vapor phase can each be split into 2 phases.

The progress of chemical reactions accompanied by the formation of water can be monitored by means of the separated water. Two models are available as standard. Both can also be used on jobs with vacuum.
